- Plan and prepare for bulk product packaging and storage
- Access, interpret and apply product packaging and storage documentation and ensure the work activity is compliant
- Obtain, read, interpret, clarify and confirm work requirements
- Identify and address potential risks, hazards and environmental issues, and implement control measures
- Select and wear correct personal protective equipment appropriate for work activities
- Communicate with other personnel using approved communication methods
- Select, and check for faults, tools/equipment for work activities
- Obtain and interpret emergency procedures, and be prepared for fire/accident/emergency
- Use approved dust suppression and extraction methods
- Ensure work area is well ventilated before entry
- Prepare site for positioning of mobile packaging equipment
- Position and stabilise mobile equipment
- Check condition of packaging meets work requirements
- Start-up equipment in sequence
- Package product
- Read and interpret equipment indicators and monitor packaging efficiency
- Continuously inspect plant and identify operational defects and potential problems
- Adjust equipment to optimise performance
- Control feed to packaging unit
- Take samples of product
- Seal, label package and secure for transport
- Prevent unauthorised entry to personnel and maintain security of packaging area
- Complete all required documentation
- Complete written reports and records
- Store product
- Conduct housekeeping activities
- Shutdown in sequence and/or isolate equipment
